Why won’t my power and eject buttons push in

My eject and power buttons are not functioning they use to go in and out now they are stuck in I’ve taken it apart but can’t seem to find the problem please help

Hi Jeremy!

Which model do you have? I faced this problem some time ago, and the plastic covers were not seated properly. When I fixed this, it did work again. Also check the actual button. Can you share some pictures with us?
