Pixel 3 GPS no longer works

i,

I've got a battered and bruised Pixel 3 that's still holding onto dear life. It is a pixel that's been through a fair few replacement parts

My most recent problem is with the GPS, not sure at what point it stopped working, but I have the following problem:

- GPS does not work with the device only (tried with the "GPS Status" app

- GPS works when connected to the Internet and location is on (not sure exactly why/how)

Upon opening the phone I found one of the 2 coaxial cables looks damaged, with a few minor kinks/breaks, could this be the reason the GPS is not working? Or are the cables not important for GPS (wifi and Bluetooth still work when cables are disconnected).

If the cables aren't the issue, I'd like to know where the GPS hardware is located, and if it's possible to get a replacement (if it's not in the main board)

Update: I have replaced the coaxial cables however this has not made a difference to the device GPS

Thank you
