New lightning connector doesn’t charge
I recently replaced my lightning connector, and it doesn’t charge. Any suggestions?

Hi! There are two possible problems that can happen.
1.sometimes the charging port is of cheap quality and will not work with your iphone
2.Or the flex cable for the charging port is not connected properly.

It wasn't charging so you replaced the charge port, but it still doesn't charge? Or you replaced the charge port and it was working for a while, but it stopped?

@flannelist I replaced it because the charge cord wouldn’t stay in the connector, but it would still charge. When I put the new lightning connector in the phone, it never charged. Eventually the phone went dead, so I put the old one back in, in order to get my information out of the phone.
