My screen is frozen. It will not restart. It does not respond.

Hey hi Tina, your problem is a quiet interesting one. However It might be either of the two. 1) Screen guard - Your screen guard might be interfering between your touch and the screen guard's touch, remove it and get a branded one. 2) Third party-app - It might be a third-party app, interfering in your mobile

SOLUTIONS:

1) Restart your phone
As you mentioned that you can't touch your screen and use your phone, its very logical that you can not do any task related to GUI. However you can press and hold the power button (or your unlock button) for at least 8 seconds until some LG or android logo apereas. Stop pressing the button once you see the logo's.

2) Safe mode
I am not quite sure if it is a third, so to check that if any app is doing that, you need to boot in safe mood. To boot in safe mood - Press and hold the volume down button while the phone is starting up.

3) Update your OS
I don't think this will help or no but sometimes it works.

4) Screen guard
Remove the screen guard and check if the phone is working
5) Factory reset
If nothing works, then your left with the one and only, factory reset. Also remember to backup all your important data only as if you backup everything, you might also bring back the problematic app or patch, and then people think that factory reset is useless, while it's not!!
