Hi Meren,
One good thing I've found about appliance repair is that there are several appliance parts sites that also have repair help sections associated with any given model.
In your case, I found a page on partselect.com where a user specifically asked about the same issue as yours. Where you see the water coming from is apparently called a "slider", part number W10734521. Here's what it looks like.
The question was posted on the Questions and Answers section of the parts page for your model. I entered the word "leaking" in the search bar and this Q/A came up.

I replaced part no.PS10060062 due to loud noises during spon cycle. This helped out a bit but there is still noise and I have now noticed some water leaking in this area once in a while. What can I do to fix the noise and leak? Is there another part or seal I need to replace? Thank you

Hi Derrick, thank you for getting in touch. Since you have already replaced, the most common part that might cause this issue, you may need to check the gearcase, part number PS12741641, as it is most likely worn out or damaged, making the washer noisy and leaking water at the same time. If this part is faulty, you may need to replace it. Please submit a new question if you have any follow-ups!
From looking at the slider part, it is described as being used to fix the case where the machine doesn't agitate, so I suspect it won't help with your leaking situation. However, the gearcase that the PartSelect guy mentioned sounds like a very likely culprit, as it has a seal at the bottom. I imagine if you take off the slider part you should be able to see if that gearcase is leaking or not. Here's the part and a picture of it.

Of course, $300 USD looks painful to me as far as price goes, but searching on the part number there are cheaper alternatives out there; for instance this site has it for under $150 with free shipping.

If you want to take a chance, there are also used ones available on eBay starting at about $85; that's entirely up to you if you want to take a chance on a used product. Personally on something like this I would go with a new replacement part, but that's just me. There are also new ones that can be had on eBay, but they start at about $150, so there's no advantage to buying it there versus the parts company I mentioned already.
So there you go; my best guess is that you can fix it with a $150 part and some labor on your part. For me it would be an easy decision to repair rather than replace and I would encourage you to consider that, but I understand that tearing apart an appliance isn't necessarily something everyone has the skills, experience or inclination to do.
Good luck with your repair; let us know how it all turns out for you!
