Tablet won't sign in on some sites that it used to
Sign in bar turns red, can still add type but when hit next it doesn't react, can still access same site on other devices

If you use chrome, try from up and right three dots then check the "desktop site" and try again. Maybe it is a bug of your current version of browser. Also try with another browser.

When you say "....won't sign in on some sites..." do you mean sign in to a WiFi network or to an internet website's login page?

Which app are you using to access the internet?
Have you tried others that are usually in the tablet e.g. Samsung, Google, Chrome etc?
Try wiping the cache partition and check if that resolves the problem
