Is my screen dead? Backlight no picture.

I just replaced the front plate of my deck with a clear JSAUX one. When I was taking off the screen, I didn't have a heat gun so I used a hair dryer on low mode. I used a little force when I lifted the screen, but didn't bend it at all. I put the deck back together, and when I turned it on, I saw the backlight of the screen turn on, and heard sound. After a few seconds the backlight dies and its just blank. I opened it up and check and made sure everything was plugged in and it was. Do I have to get a new screen?
