Krupps four slice toaster - one side won’t latch
I have thoroughly cleaned and checked this over and cannot find a reason for the side that won’t latch in to place…

Ah, this can be an easy fix! First of course, unplug the toaster and move it to a table, preferably put a mat underneath for an easy clean up. This link will give you step-by-step instructions on repairing the lever mechanism. Best of luck!

@stevengold68967 Was the toaster piugged in to a wall outlet while you were trying the latch?
