Day 3 or 4 of using this new screen. Finding that the screen is now tinted yellow. I have tried going through Color Correction, Night Mode and Extra Dim to no avail. It was just fine last night but this morning I turn my phone on to find it like this. Any idea of what could be causing the problem or is this just a defective part?

I have the exact same problem. Just changed my screen on my 6a tester day. Dim display. Full brightness is all yellow and low brightnes it's purple'ish
Hope it's hardware and a bad display sample. Cracked the old screen, but no issues with color or brightness on that one.
Will try reversing and check old screen. Otherwise new phone. Pretty poor quality control 🤬🙄😠

I have the same issue and have had 2 additional replacement screens sent out by support (3 total) without a definitive fix. The only option I'm being given is to send back the new screen again for a refund or live with it. Really bad experience in my opinion from an "official Google partner".
Did anyone solve this? I am having the same with the original screen. If I twist the body of the phone, I can get it to go back to normal color palette momentarily.
I'm having the same issue with a screen replacement from ifixit. The yellow tint is really strong. I'll try to get a replacement from ifixit.
same problem with my ifixit replacement screen ... until a brightness of about 70% the yello tint is barely noticeable but above 70% ... with 100% the yello is nearly that bad as shown in the picture of Christian in the first posting.
I have the exact same problem. Did anyone find a solution? iFixit is sending me a replacement screen but I don't know if that will be the solution.

Hello, I hope anyone finds this helpful. It is not the screen, since I swapped my "broken" display with another pixel 6a device (found it used for cheap), And now my phone with the new screen is still with broken colors and the backup phone is all normal with my original screen.
My theory is that something went wrong with the motherboard during replacement, these days I am swapping motherboards and will know for sure.

Swapped motherboards and it worked. Noticed a resistor missing as described here: Phone screen is tinted yellow, depending on brightness
