My old iphone X has a black screen, I can't see anything but it is functional, shows on my itunes, i can feel vibrates from it but the screen will not show, anyone know what may be wrong and how to fix it?

Try a hard reset, press and let go volume up then volume down then press and hold power for 20-30 seconds. If the apple logo appears let go. Then check for an update.
