DSi XL restarts/turns off when pressure is applied near letter buttons

Decided to take it upon myself to repair an old Nintendo DSi XL that was laying around. I was able to fix everything, or so I thought.

When everything was reassembled, I discovered this incredibly annoying problem. Whenever I put pressure on and around the X and A buttons, the device would restart or occasionally shut down. It rendered it completely useless to play on.

I took apart everything a second time and made sure all ribbon cables were nice and snug, wifi/microphone were firmly connected, screws were fairly tight, and components cleaned with IPA. The problem persisted.

Fortunately, I seem to have found a point on the motherboard where it is especially sensitive to pressure and causes the problem. The thing is, I do not know if the ZIF connector, top screen/camera ribbon cables, battery, or a component on the board is causing this problem. From the looks of it, the ZIF connector and ribbons do not seem to be damaged, which baffles me more. (A board component does seem to be damaged though, I just do not know if it is enough to be the culprit. see image with red arrow)

I have provided some videos and images to show what I said above as well as close ups of components that could be a factor in causing this problem.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me :)
