you have missing cam driver install the cam driver

I reinstalled the cam drivers, still does not show up in device manager

What OS do you have? Windows or Linux? In windows, have you checked to see if your camera show up in Device manager?

i have xp nothing shows in the device manger. driver says it cant find the cam to down load. so its not finding the cam

Take a look inside your BIOS and see if you have an option to enable the cam in there
