Replace Garmin GPSMap 67i Battery

With the GPSMap 67i, (and the GPSMap 67), Garmin has switched to "non-replaceable" batteries.

Any clue on how to replace it? Any clue on how to simply open the unit enough to reveal the battery?

Eventually, those batteries will fail. (I owned my last GPS for 10 years.)

This video is for a similar model. both have the same number of screws, 6. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y_wP4piK.... Your model shows six(6) screws so it should be easy enough to remove screws and carefully separate the rear cover for access to the battery. The battery connector in the video may or may not be the same for the 'non replaceable" battery. You can determine whether it's replaceable but you'll need to source a replacement battery.

@kevinklein30406 F Dryer's tutorial should let you open up the device and check out the battery. I can try to help you find a replacement battery but you will need to upload pictures of the original battery and battery connector, as well as let me know what the dimensions of the battery are (mm/cm please).
