have semi unresponsive A button took apart black spots cant clean

ya so i took the ds lite apart to clean the part of the board where where the buttons are and there is black spots on the gold connecter part, i cleaned with 99%ipa and put back together but black spots wouldn't come off and A button still is finicky. any advice or ideas would be appreciated. thanks
