No touch screen after replacement
I just finished following the guide to replace my screen. It looks great but it does not respond to touch at all. It's not glued back in place yet, only held on by the flex cable to test the screen. I was very careful not to touch the screen on initial bootup. Did I get a lemon or am I missing something?
Esta é uma boa pergunta?
It's been 2 years Did you find any solution?

@dhanpatisharma Google has known issues with their replacement parts, so if you bought a genuine Google screen, it should be considered suspect. Is it possible for you to try the original screen to verify that touch is still working on that? If so, then it's fairly definite that your replacement screen is defective.

I don't have other screen to check to... I came across a video on YouTube of an iPad which has the same issue, it was fixed by changing the touch IC...I Thought may be the pixel 6 pro has the same touch IC problem

@dhanpatisharma While it's possible, it's very rare for the chips to fail; I don't recall seeing any cases where that has been true for a Pixel phone. It's virtually always a problem with the screen itself or occasionally the connector to the motherboard. I would look into getting a replacement for your screen under warranty. As I mentioned before, if it's a genuine Google part they have a history of not working even when brand new.
