In this laptop you would need to replace the motherboard with one of the same model. The CPU is non upgradable.

As the Duck mentioned, the processor on your motherboard is soldered down. These CPUs use what's called a Ball Grid Array, or BGA that consists of a grid of solder dots that get heated up in an oven and melt down onto a corresponding grid of solder pads. It requires specialized equipment and expertise to replace a BGA component, and would cost more than the laptop is worth to replace.
So yeah, your only option here is to replace the motherboard. It does appear that they're not hard to get; a quick search showed motherboards with I3, I5 and I7 CPUs all available on several sites such as Amazon, eBay and AliExpress.

Below are the steps to replace a laptop processor (i3 to i7):
Check if your CPU can be upgraded at all (M-type processor)
Check the motherboard socket type to replace the laptop processor.
Get technical and find a compatible processor to upgrade.
Just do it and this is how I did it.

Will
