Replaced camera module does not work

I replaced the camera module in my s10e. The old one was having focus issues. The replacement went smooth but now the camera won't work at all. Just a black screen no matter the app. I re-set the connections multiple times and no change. Is there something I need to do on the software side to have it recognize the camera?
