1 Weed wacker runs fine but stops as soon as it hits the grass
I have an older model 4 cycle craftsman weed wacker probably around 10 to 12 years old. Have replaced fule line a few times and even the clutch once or twice as well as cleaning the carb here and there but at the end of last year I went to use it and it started fin reved up to full then as soon as it took a load by hitting grass shut off. It then started and reved fine again and did the exact same thing like 5 times in a row. I have a smaller one that I have been using but I have a bunch of attachments I really need the power of the 4 cycle for. Any idea on what could be wrong?

Sounds like you know your way around it pretty well so probably already checked the obvious issues: carb, fuel line cracks/filter, sparkplug, string length...? Gas cap vent?. Air filter?
