2 Is main board interchangable
Tx-l55wt50y replacement part
Hello, so I have a panasonic TX-L55WT50Y and the HDMI ports all do not work so i am interested in buying a new board for it but can't find the original part which is TXN/A1TCUB but i have found a part that is for the same model but different region and different size 42" ( mine 55") tx - l42wt50b and the Main board TXN/A1TEUB and i am wondering if this would work with my tv to me they look identical but i am not sure if it will work i have attached pictures of both main boards

@Samantha m All the identifiers I can find on those pictures match up, so it looks like they are the same. But! There could still be small differences that aren't identifiable on those pictures.

Samantha m it is possible that it works but there is always the unknow since we can not determine the individual IC's so we do no know for sure. I have had issues where the boards were identical but the version number was different and they did not work. So it's a bit of a guessing game. Right now there is really nothing left to lose and I'd go for it. The failure of the HDMI ports etc. lead me to think that a reflow of the large IC's under the heatsinks could possibly revive your current board. Don't do this now but try to replace it first.
