Cracked Screen with Black Bar and Flickering Pink Horizontal Lines

I recently opened my MacBook Pro 2016 to find a crack in the black bar underneath the screen (see picture). It looks like some hardware is exposed. This crack has caused a vertical black bar to appear on my display and random pink flashing horizontal lines to appear on the screen. These flashing lines change color and placement frequently and randomly. Is this possible to fix on my own? I don't know much about computers but would love to be able to buy the parts and repair it myself. Please let me know what exactly I broke, what parts I would need to buy, and any tutorials you may know of. Thank you so much for your help in advance!
