Sometimes get intermittent action when opening case, but main problem is no camera or green led. I ordered an EDP Display cable and will replace that. Good idea? or think the actual camera module is bad? Doesn’t show cam in Photo Booth, Zoom or other programs.
Was able to replace that cable and a camera... all working fine now.

Hi as far I I know you cannot replace the cable as is goes inside of the physical display
But try asking apple support about it because they had a free replacement programme for “flex gate” Which sound a bit like what you have on your MacBook
So if all goes well you could get a whole new top screen for FREE
