(video included) OnePlus 6 extremely slow + screen blinking

What happened:
- battery died and replaced it with a new one
- used heat gun on the back to open the phone
Issues:
- after battery replacement, it takes cca 5 seconds to respond to everything
- if I turn on/off the screen...it starts blinking continuously (when screen active)
- I put the old battery back and faced the same issues
- I've never had any issues with it before replacing the battery

Can you please advise me on what should I do to fix it?

@adrian112233 how much heat and for how long did you apply it? Explain this "- if I turn on/off the screen...it starts blinking continuously (when screen active)" a bit more. does it ever stop blinking?

@oldturkey03 It never stops blinking (please see the last few seconds of the video). In terms of heat...I couldn't touch the phone for a few seconds after I used the gun. It was that hot.
