After LG G5 battery swap and reboot, device time is wrong

Assumed: LG G5 phone, Android 8.0/Oreo (latest supported release), 2 batteries
1 Shut down phone
2 Swap battery
3 Reboot
4 Observe: time is wrong
5 Log in
6 Status bar upper right > Settings
7 Scroll to bottom
8 Tap System (2nd-to-last item)
9 Select Date & Time (3rd item)
10 If "Set automatically" on, uncheck
11 Check "Set automatically" - time now correct
