Washer doesn’t swish around during cycle
The washer fills and drains and final spins perfectly. But during the washing stages it does not swish around the clothing.

This sounds like an agitator issue. The dogs may be stripped. please give us you make and model number for a better response.

From other posts on this model it appears that there are screws holding the agitator plate and they come loose. Pull the agitator straight up and check. If loose, use Loctite Red to secure them in place
