2011 MacBook Pro display went green

Was using my laptop one day and it was all good. Battery ran out from idling for 2 days so I plugged it in to charge. Powered up my Macbook the next day and the screen/wallpaper was green. Mirrored my screen to an external monitor and the display was normal on the external screen but still green on my Macbook. What components may cause this issue and what parts need to be replaced?
