Mac is laggy after I spilled water on it.

Recently I spilled water on my Mac a few days ago so I unplugged everything, flipped it upside down in a tent position and dried the keyboard where I spilled my water on.

For whatever reason I turned on my Mac the next day hoping it would magically fix but it didn’t and the screen glitched for a second showing white spots but then went back to the normal boot screen.

When it asked me to sign in the display was on the corner of the screen but the screen blinked and it went back to normal.

I couldn’t help but notice that the words Safe Boot were on the top of my screen in Red. Kind of freaked me out but I signed in like normally do, I didn’t notice anything.

When it loaded everything some textures were messing like the dock so it just showed a dark rectangle as a dock. At this point I got scared and and shutdown the laptop and flipped it upside down for another 3 days.

3 days later I opened my laptop and everything was normal until I got into the sign in screen which did the same thing as before and the display was on the top right then the screen blinked and everything was normal.

The words Safe Boot were still on the top of my screen but I signed in any-ways. And not to my surprise the dock was still a big black rectangle. I tried to open google and it was so laggy.

After I try to type I realized that everything was in caps and I couldn’t fix it by turning off caps lock and my scroll wheel on my mouse didn’t work either.

BootCamp didn’t try to load and said that it couldn’t read the partition.

Is there anyway to fix this?

Ouch! Not good ;-{

Close the door hide the mess! Sadly, that doesn’t fix it. Liquid damage is not something you can hide from.
