What do you use for glue removing?
What kind of glue remover do you use when cleaning and preparing for glueing on new lcd?
I have tried acetone, but it’s now working..

Heat Gun, about £30 on Amazon, or if your on a budget, a hairdryer on full will do the trick, but make sure the hairdryer is never touching the phone, keep it a few cm away from the phone in the upwards direction.

Hello Jup,
I am using a hairdryer, but I am wondering how to clean the remaining glue after the lcd is removed? Or what kind of product..
I am asking this because someone super glue it on and now I have to clean the remaining super glue which can't be removed with a hairdryer only..

Probably the cheapest and easiest way is to get a toothpick. It's not a glue they use, it's like a double sided tape. Take the toothpick, stick it into any part of the glue and start rolling it in between your fingers. This "glue" will start coming off
@zorman While you can buy Goo Gone Adhesive Remover I recommend finding some nail polish remover, dipping the tip of a Q-tip into the remover, then applying remover directly to the superglued area.

Acetone is what is in nail polish remover. Acetone will break down super glue. A qtip soaked with acetone and some scrubbing.
