Why does my phone have this vertical line?
I dropped my phone from the sofa, it was barely half a meter above the ground.
I havn’t tried anything else as of now.

What's the solution? Complete screen replacement ? or is there anything that can be done ?
Yes, iPhones have a complete meshed unit with the display, digitizer, and glass screen all epoxied into one. If you lived in Shenzhen then you could go to any vendor that can replace just the glass but anywhere else, most places would charge you more money to do that (it's labour intensive). So a screen replacement is necessary *IF* you want to gain that array of pixels back.
