i replaced my ipod screen and put a new one, after i put it all back together the unlock slide nore the exit slide work except the cancle button. thank u for ur time.......god bless u all :)

Make sure the connector is firmly in its place, sometimes the connector not being fully seated will cause this. You might also check the flex cable on the digitizer, they tend to tear easily when you install them. You might also just have a defective digitizer, try another one or the old one if it works and see if that's the case.
