Is logic board with EMC No. 2353-1 compatible with EMC No. 2417?
My 15” early 2011 MacBook Pro’s EEEE code DMNG and EMC code 2417 needs replacing. Is a logic board with EMC code 2353-1 compatible?
Esta é uma boa pergunta?

The EMC 2353 is one of 7 MBP 15” running from 2010-2011
There is no EMC 2417
There is a EMC 2471 which is a MacBook Air Mid-2011 11”
What do you have?

Photo appears to show EMC No. 2417; definitely not 2353. According to Apple, these are different boards. But are they interchangeable? Apple did not say.
What photo are you referencing?

@danj I did not see anything that says we downvote previously upvoted answers. Not sure why you did downvote this answer
Yes, is fully compatible
I've changed a lógic 2417 to a MBP originally porting a 2353, it fits and works OK

@rheneas double checked the boards and this answer is correct. Those boards definitely interchange without any issues. the MBP A1286 (EMC 2417) is a Core i7 2.0 15" early 2011.

The EMC numbers you've posted are from the same series.
2353-1 the 2417 is the boards ID.
How about giving us a bit more info on what you have and the source of the board you are looking at.
To be honest, I would recommend getting a 2012 logic board as the both 2011 series have GPU issues.

Hi, I've just answered the question.
I've made one working machine from two broken ones.
I agree on the GPU problems and the convenience of using a better Lógic.

@danj Thanks. Which 2012 logic boards would be compatible?

Any one of these boards will work TheBookYard UK - Mid 2012 15" MacBook Pro Unibody - logic boards
The only alteration needed is filing the LVDS cable connector Apple switched vendors using a very slightly narrower connector. Carefully filing with a nail file the each edge of the fiberglass board with a few even strokes is all that's needed. Very easy upgrade!

@danj Thank you for your guidance. I finally got around to swapping in a refurbished mid-2012 logic board (2.3 ghz CPU) as you recommended, and upgraded the machine to Catalina. It was a fun if precarious experience. Thanks again!
