I bought a Leapfrog Leappad Ultimate at auction. It has a lock code that I don't know. Is there a way to bypass or reset without the passcode? 196 backspace 87 doesn’t work.

I believe you hook it up to the computer, then use leapfrog’s software, Leapfrog Connect, which will allow you to link it to your account and reset the passcode. Doing this does wipe out any downloaded content so you won’t get what the previous user had on there.

Did anyone ever figure out how to unlock the leappad ultimate im having the same problem
Try holding the power button and volume up button down together till the device turns off and then back on. It will hopefully bring you to a coding area click the reset and follow the prompts. Worked for my leapfrog academy
