Torn internal connection cable

My ear piece speaker stopped working. So I ordered a new one from amazon and opened up my phone to replace it. During the opening, the guitar pick sliced through the two connection cables internally on the left hand side of the phone. Regardless, I carried on and fitted the speaker and put the phone back together. I will take it to a phone repairer tomorrow to get it fixed.

My question is; what are these two cables called and are they expensive to replace?

I can’t. As my phone is broken. But It is the black ribbon cable set halfway down the right hand side, that connect the base and the screen sections, when you open up the phone. both are partly severed.

They’re not repairable, they are the display and home button cables, both _parts_ of the display assembly. The good news is that a screen replacement isn’t such an expensive repair.
