Why does my car stop turning over?
2002 Hyundai Accent
1.5 L, 4 cyl. Manual Transmission
The issue started with taking an extra few seconds to turn over completely and start and ended with not being able to start at all.
It would try and try as long as you turn the key over but no full start up.
I changed all 4 spark plugs, it reluctantly started and I drove it about 10 miles to my house.
Then again this morning as I try to leave, same problem. Wont start.
Starter had been replaced 1.5-2 years ago. Alternator 3 years prior. Battery is only 2 years old.

Does the engine turn over when you try to start? Does it sound like it did before all of this when it turns over? If the starting speed is to slow then you may have a starter issue or a battery issue. The spark plugs will not have anything to do with that. If it does turn over fast enough then you may have an issue with the spark but could be any sensor, coil etc. as well. We definitely need more information to help you out better.
