Water damage to the screen

I know that in our community we try to help each other in repairing things on our own to save some bucks. But when it comes to water damage issues, the best solution is to send it back to the manufacturer for repair since if you try to do it on your own, you might not be able to bring the video back even by installing a new e-board for the TV.
