Dead then Hibernation?

Went to start up my laptop this morning but it’s completely lifeless, no power lights when plugged in unless I remove the battery pack then a white charge light will appear but laptop still won’t switch on?? Twice within the hour it’s switched on but says ‘hibernating’ but can’t get it out of that then it shuts down and now unable to switch on or do anything to it again.. any ideas??? Thanks in advance
