Is it Possible to reuse the Pixel XL display adhesive?

simple question.

i live in Indonesia, and i want to replace the battery of my pixel xl. now i can’t seem to find any screen adhesive anywhere near me. and buying it from ifixit means importing it, likely a few months of wait while my phone’s battery is already dying, and the cost of the import itself might end up up to 30% of what the phone itself is now valued at over here.

so, can i somehow reuse the screen adhesive after i take it apart?

or might there be some kind of workaround possible?
