Uk spec different from austrailian spec?

so i accidently dropped my screen and was looking online about repairs for samsung phones and found the samsung doorstep repair they came by looked over my phone and said my phone was an austrailian spec phone due to the connections in the phone, is this true and are there different versions for different areas or are they all the same?
