Water damage needs evaluation

iPhone 6 showed up with water markers going red, asked the person who delivered it and said it drop in the bathroom sink which I believe had the pH 7 at the time??

I have see the display cable and have seen black residue which I believe to clean it with Isopropyl alcohol 90% - 99% concentration… Any tips you wanna suggest I should take and just to add on… The screen is working and is responsive but the display is showing blue horizontal lines, which I think is caused by the display cable and logic board having corrosion… any ideas? And

edit: I have also added images

Sorry about that... I have added the images this time again and even before this... I have checked that link and multiple web which follow the same standard procedure. Thanks for the link and can you re-check the my post which I have added images??

@ding0 That looks very bad, socket has too many missing pins and probably that's just the beginning of the troubles you'll find. Screen is gone too. Personally on an iPhone 6 I would just call it a no fix and give it back to the customer, not worth the time and troubles involved and parts needed, unless it would be strictly for data recovery.

@arbaman also, the whole phone is functional, vibrator, lcd response, power, battery taking and using power and sound as well... honestly I think we can take the lcd display jack and change it but too much of an headache, don’t you think?

@ding0 If it's just for data recovery that changes the picture a bit as the focus is just to have it work temporarily to get the data out. You may try removing the connector and see if you still have some exposed copper traces to rebuild the circuits and make jumpers. If you plug back the screen now it will probably be black as most pins involved are part of the backlight circuit. There's some hope but be ready to possibly get into a rabbit hole and lots of work.

@arbaman either I can replace the logic board and the LCD or just return it which still works... what do you think??

%#*@ water... it just had to make my tunnel of hope just collapse on itself
