Thick green Lines on lcd screen of Ipad Mini 4

I received an Ipad Mini 4 Wifi for screen repair. The Owner says it was not dropped and no water/fluid contact. there is no crack on the screen and seems like it is working. when I turn the Ipad it shows the lines changing similar to when you go from horizontal to vertical position on a phone . I just want to make sure it is not a different issue. Has anyone else seen this?

A couple times I saw that issue 90% is a internal crack and 10% Severe Liquid Damage.

@pouisen2010, it depends whether the iPad is worth the cost of a new screen or not, as that's what it will take to fix it. If you do the replacement yourself, your only cost will be the screen and possibly any tools and adhesives needed to do the job, which will be far cheaper than what any shop will charge you to replace the screen. Here's the iFixit guide showing how to do the job.

iPad mini 4 Wi-Fi Screen and Digitizer Replacement - iFixit Repair Guide

A quick check shows a couple of those screens available on Amazon for around $70 USD; you may be able to find them even cheaper on places like eBay and AliExpress.

Amazon.com: for iPad Mini 4 2015 LCD Screen Replacement 7.9 Inch LCD Display A1538 Touch Digitizer Compatible with A1550 Assembly with Home Button Repair Parts Kits (White) : Electronics

Of course you'll want to find the color that matches yours; in practice the color is only cosmetic but since you need to keep your home button it'll be the wrong color if you don't get the same color as your original screen.

Good luck; let us know what you decide.

I have the same iPad yesterday evening I took it out my bag and noticed the same thick lines but in a different range of colours halfway on the screen no damage cracks or anything it just randomly appeared I've used the iPad for over 6 years and it's been perfectly fine I'm not sure what it is but it spread further on the screen repairs cost more than it's worth what should I do?
