My MacBook Pro 13” (Late 2016, A1708) recently died due to water damage. I was hoping take out the SSD and recover pictures and other documents. Are there hard drive enclosures available for the SSD in this machine? I’ve been doing some research but can’t seem to find one compatible.

No, there aren’t any enclosures on the market for Apple’s new form-factor SSDs in the 2016 models, unfortunately.

I am an IT professional That specializes in Apples and am still waiting on pins and needles for this enclosure. As the years pass I like apple products less and less.
