Not dancing at all
I have installed the batteries properly however the dancing cabbage patch doll doesn’t make a sound and doesn’t move.

Clean the contacts and try again. If that doesn’t work, then there must be a loose wire inside or something.
I couldn’t find any specifics for getting to the electronics, but most guides to cleaning and restitching the dolls start with removing the zip-tie that holds the head on. You might find a point of ingress into the circuitry from there.
