Why won't my lcd work?

I just attempted to replace the lcd and digitizer on an Ipad Mini 2 LTE. I connected everything correctly, but the lcd won’t turn on. The Ipad is recongized in Itunes. I would try to back it up but I can’t allow the computer to be accepted. I tried 3 three lcds. The previous broken one lit up, but was gray and orange with line. Is there some fuse burned out on the Ipad.

Let’s rule out a backlight issue. Shine a bright flashlight onto your iPad’s screen at multiple angles and see if you can make out any pictures on the screen.

That sucks! I am not the iPad expert around here so don't give up hope yet. @refectio knows iPads better then I do, maybe he will drop by and suggest something!
