Why isnt the buttons, cameras, flashlight working after battery replac

I replaced my htc one m9 battery but now the cameras, flashlight, buttons arent working the screen was working but i think my dad accidentally damaged it.

will i.need to replace a certain part such as the screen besides the battery?
