How do I stop the google play ads from popping up?

I have tried all the suggestions on the internet but they keep popping up, no matter what I'm trying to do!! Please help! I've had a note 4 before and never had this problem. I've turned off all the permissions and notifications that I can find, they are still popping up. Most of the ads say google play at the bottom of the ad.....
