The PowerBook 500 Series was released in May 1994 and includes 4 models: the 520, 520c, 540, and 540c. Although the specs may differ, repairs and upgrades for one will be applicable to all other models.

Best way to replace/fix clock pram battery for PowerBook 500 series?

It seems that We Love Macs once sold a replacement clock pram battery for the Powerbook 500 series, however it is no longer in stock. What would be the best strategy for replacing/fabricating a new one? Is there another one that would work just as well?
