How to reassemble my portafilter that is different then ones posted

How do I put my portafilter back together, my model is different then the ones on this site. The small spring shot out when I unscrewed it do I couldn’t find anything online how to reassemble it. When I do assemble it, it no longer springs back when Attached to the espresso maker.
