Kenmore Heavy Duty Dryer shuts off mid cycle
I have a Kenmore dryer that decided to stop during mid cycle. I checked the thermal fuse as this is a typical problem. Upon finding the thermal fuse it had been bypassed already, so I ruled that out. I also checked the door switch, start switch and all are working. It will work once it cools down, but then when it heats up, it's stops during mid cycle. So, Then I thought it might be the motor, which was covered in lent, so I removed the tube, and vacuumed everything to include the lent tube. Put all back together and to my surprise is turned on, then again cut off during mid cycle. Any clue as to what it might be now.

I have changed the element that was bad, I also changed the thermal cutoff, thermal fuse, high limit thermostat. The dryer cuts off during the normal cycle, but runs on timed drying cycle which is higher heat than normal. I ready to throw the thing out the door. Already spent $100.00 on parts, PLEASE HELP ME. I think there must be restrictions on air flow that is causing the sensors to think there is still moisture in the air and keeps the heating element hotter than it should which is why it is shutting off.
Try getting once of those dryer vent hose cleaning kits and make sure there is not lint build up on the hose all the way to the end of the exhaust.
