Sounds like you're talking about the 6 legged sensing chip at the edge of the board, but please add a picture showing the location so we can help.

@polastreli like @reecee already mentioned. Post a good image of what "chip" you are referring to and mark the location on the logicboard. Use this guide or that Adicionar imagens a uma pergunta já existente It may also help if you can give us the 820-xxxx number of the board as well.
