I have a late 2014 mac mini that is giving me 3 beeps on start up. Traditionally this a ram issue, is there anyway to save this computer, as the RAM for this machine is soldered to the board?

If the RAM has failed there is nothing you can do as Apple Soldered the RAM in ;-{ Sorry.

Hi Taylor,
Sorry to hear that you're having RAM issues, @danj's post regarding beep codes most likely proves there is an issue with the RAM. However, we do sell replacement logic boards for that model of computer if you're interested. Currently, they're out of stock, but I know we have one arriving early next week.

In a desperate attempt to salvage this thing I figured I might as well try to hit the solder connections with some rubbing alcohol and it worked?! YAY!
