6S display will only turn on once after screen replacement
Just got a 6s in for repair and the customer was a have a go hero.
So new display in, when battery was dead charging screen displayed perfectly. Then once booted, on power button press the screen flashes on perfectly for a second, then dead. Can repeat the process with a soft reset. First press of the sleep/wake shows the screen perfect for a second.

When you disassembled the unit did you notice any errors of their attempt?
It's a very easy error to make when applying the screws back or not disconnecting the battery (which does not seem to be the case here).
The only other thing I can think of was improper placing of the cables, which you will be able to see on the pins.
